I’ve been trying to come up with the right words for this review. I’m going to let the 8 ball decide this review. 8 ball says: “Yes – definitely”. I’m going to assume (which makes an ass out of U & Me) that I should definitely give a review of this app.
This 8 ball app does a wonderful job of replicating the 8 ball. It even displays the 8 ball slowly like a normal 8 ball when the display slowly floats up. The many settings on this 8 ball App include: Auto shake (where you don’t have to shake the phone, but what’s the fun of that), legacy mode (similar to above only you turn the phone over), Disable Screen Dim, Response Set (choose which category of responses you want), Custom Responses, X and Y sensitivity, number of shakes, and shake time.
The graphics are pretty good and it acts like it should. I like the custom responses in the app because I run into a lot of people who base all their life choices on an 8 ball and I can influence their lives (it’s true). There are a good amount of options on this 8 Ball app, so if you’re in need of an 8 ball, instead of going to the local gift store to get a real 8 ball, I think this would be a good substitute.
Some things that could be added are increased back grounds and increased ball designs, but I may be nitpicking there. Magic 8 ball says “without a doubt”.
Now I just need to find a lava lamp App.
